Now excelled at all 3 of my children’s weddings

Jo’s Kitchen did the catering for my daughter’s wedding in our garden. We asked Jo because in 2016 she catered at my son’s wedding (180 guests) and in 2017 we asked her to cater at my other daughter’s wedding (200 guests). She has now excelled at all 3 of my children’s very different weddings. First, my son’s wedding. In a marquee, close to the beach. A varied, colourful buffet, fish and veg only. Fresh local ingredients. Absolutely superb in terms of organisation, food quality, friendly professional staff and clearing up after the event.

A year later my daughter got married in the middle of nowhere on a shooting estate south of Inverness. Jo and her team arrived to find the marquee site flooded and had to start chopping and cooking for 200 guests in a tiny kitchen whilst waiting for the marquee and catering tent to be erected. She fed about 120 people the night before the wedding from that tiny kitchen and then went on to produce the best wedding food ever, when she finally got a catering tent to work from on the morning of the wedding. We had worked closely with her on the very demanding menu and the food Jo produced was outstanding.and everyone said so. I could write so much more about that wedding and how Jo worked so hard and gave everything she had to give.

By contrast last Saturday’s wedding was a walk in the park for Jo but the level of service and standard of food and care taken was every bit as good as the previous two weddings she has done for us. She is professional, always cheerful and has great ideas. She is capable of really listening to what her clients want and going out of her way to make sure they get it. I cannot recommend Jo’s kitchen highly enough.
